Winter Dance for Natalia...

I received a letter from the High School about an upcoming Winter Dance. I asked Natalia if she wanted to go? She had not heard any 'talk' about it at school amongst her girlfriends and I think she thought I was 'joking' about a dance. I assured her I was not and told her to ask her 'girls' if they would be going? In typical 'teenage' last minute fashion, the day of the dance, I received a phone call from Alexia, one of Natalia's track friends asking if Natalia wanted to go with a group of girls? I said 'sure' and asked Alexia to show Natalia where to buy her ticket.
We "threw together" an outfit for Natalia and I styled her hair. A quick pic before heading out:

 

I dropped Natalia off at Alexia's friend, Hannah's house where 5 girls met up. Hannah's Mom drove them to the dance. The theme was Mardi Gras. Natalia and Alexia:

I picked Natalia up at 10:30 PM and she was smiling from ear to ear;) She was smiling the next morning when she woke up. It does my heart good seeing her enjoying her life with sweet friends along the way;)
